The Humaning Well team of consultants and facilitator-instructors guide individuals, business leaders, community builders and change agents on how to show up, fulfill their personal and business visions, and create greater wellness for themselves and everyone they touch.
Based in ontology, biology and cognition, Humaning Well’s signature graduate-level program, For Future’s Sake, equips and empowers individuals, teams and organizations to reduce conflict, mistakes, stress, illness, burnout and turnover while increasing leadership, team effectiveness, safety, curiosity, resilience and retention—all while developing a shared sense of values and mission. This year-long program also has a two-year train-the-trainer option. Custom Consulting engagements are also available for teams and organizations.
Our 12-week Humaning Well Skills Series, as well as our Futurescaping and Conversations for Curiosity, are open to individuals for personal and professional growth and skills building.
Our philosophy and approach are culled from 120+ years of clinical, consulting and graduate level training in organizational development and the healing arts. Our work focuses on helping you craft an embodied curiosity, be a more effective communicator, and cultivate the five senses as a common language for culture design … at home, at work and in the wider world.
At the core of all of our work are the 12 Humaning Well Skills. These are proven skills that increase mindfulness, presence, and somatic awareness, and clarify communication—resulting in significant measurable (and often, rapid) change across organizations and teams.
Through the mastery of practical skills and sensory and somatic awareness (cultivating the five senses and giving mindful attention to the body and body sensations), you will tap into your own physical cues to make clear decisions, transform your “energy leaks” in moments to create deeper alignment, and develop your agency to design your daily interactions, so you can show up to change the world.
Many leadership training and executive coaching platforms, and much of schooling at large, ruin your common sense, or at best teach you formulas or frameworks for “how to gain trust” or “active listening” or “how to structure a business meeting.” And give “best practices” and SOPs for scaling and managing system. In other words, they give you their ideas.
But you can’t run your business like we run our business or like any one of the hundreds of other organizations and thousands of individuals we’ve worked with. Because your art is unique. Only you can hone your sense perception and the capacity to use it in any given context. You are uniquely qualified to communicate your vision and inspire people to hold that vision with you and bring their gifts in the service of manifesting that now-shared vision. That is where your real power lies—in you as agent for your vision and as designer of the relationships, business, community and culture you want to see in the world.
